Romania is a country located in central Europe and is the 6th most populous of the European Union. Its is known to be the country that connects central, eastern, southern and south-eastern Europe. Its neighbors are: Bulgaria to the south, Ukraine to the north, Hungary to the west, Serbia to the southwest, Moldova to the east, and the Black Sea to the southeast. Due to its location, it has a predominantly mild climate. Bucharest is not only the capital of Romania but is also the largest city with a population of around 2 million, followed by Iasi, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Constanta, Craiova, Sibiu, Brasov, and Galati. Romania has been a member state of the European Union since 1 January 2007. Probably one of the most famous regions in Romania is the forested region of Transylvania, which is encircled by the Carpathian Mountains.

Work and Study
International students in Romania can work while studying at the same time. As a student there are opportunity for various paid or unpaid internships and depending on your field of training, you will not always need to be able to speak Romanian. 4 hours of work per day are permitted during studies and 3 months of full time work are permitted during the summer holidays.
Extension of Temporary Residence Permit
When done with school an international student in Romania may apply for an extension of their temporary residence permit for employment purposes but they must first obtain the employment permit then a work residence permit approved by the Immigration Inspectorate. The extension of residence permit must be done at least 30 days before the expiry of your current permit.

No IELTS.
