About Portugal

Portugal is the westernmost point of the European continent and lies on the west coast of the Iberian Peninsula. The lengthy Atlantic shoreline is famous with tourists and locals. Surfers are drawn to the sturdy surf in the west, and the warm, sandy seashores in the south are a retreat for tourists.

Most people stay alongside the coast, with a third of the populace residing in the giant urban areas of Lisbon and Porto. Portuguese cities nonetheless keep their historical personality and many of the historical constructions continue to be intact. Lisbon hasn't modified plenty since the late 18th century. You Can Apply Without IELTS

Study & Work
Non-EU international students with study permits in Portugal will need authorization from the Portuguese Immigration and Borders Service (SEF) to work and they are allowed to work in Portugal for 20 hours per week during school semesters and full time during vacations with a minimum wage ranging within €5 to €6 per hour.

Post-Study Visa & PR
After studying in Portugal, international students are allowed to stay in the country for 1 year to look for a job. After the 1 year extension with them successively getting a job related to their field of study they can obtain a permanent residence permit after 5 years of working and living in Portugal.

High Quality Education
Portuguese educational system follows the Bologna Process (a European reform process that aims to establish a common structure for higher education across Europe) throughout its universities and polytechnics. By following the Bologna Process, degree programs (Bachelor, Masters and PhD) at Portuguese universities and polytechnics are aligned to and are comparable with other European countries’. Portugal offers an accredited network of both public and private universities that promotes close collaboration with higher education institutions of international standard. The cost of living in Portugal is relatively low compared to other western European countries. Portugal is one of the more affordable countries in Europe. Although living costs vary from one region to another and from different individual personality, an average range of €500 – €800 should take care of monthly upkeep.

Tuition fees in Portuguese universities are low especially in public universities . Private universities cost more than the public ones, but are still more affordable than European countries.
