About Barbados

Barbados is a small island country in the southeastern Caribbean Sea, approximately 100 miles (160 km) east of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The island is fairly flat, with its highest point being Mount Hillaby at 336 meters, and it is surrounded by coral reefs. Barbados measures about 20 miles (32 km) from northwest to southeast and 15 miles (25 km) from east to west at its widest point. The capital and largest city is Bridgetown, which is also the main seaport.
